We’re in final edits and waiting for cover art for the third installment in The Gilded Shackle. Although it’s unlikely we’ll have it available here in September, I’m still holding out for hope.
I’m also considering a cover art re-design on the first two books. Although people who have read the books love the cover art, people who are new to the series get confused by the youth of the characters on the cover, and assume the series is for a younger audience than it is. This third book in the series is the last one that will safely hold a PG-13(ish) rating… as Teine and his friends mature into adults, their understanding of their world and the situations they find themselves involved in are going to change. Book 4’s rough draft is coming along nicely, and I have many ideas for short stories to supplement the readers inbetween releases of scheduled installments in the main story.
This is one post I’d really love to have some feedback on. If you consider yourself a fan, and have an opinion on any of this, please feel free to chime in, below, with a comment.
